Meagan Frances Ayers
For eight years, I have been attending the University of Toledo; two  of which were as a high school student.  I have enjoyed pursuing my education and searching for the focus right for me.  After dabbling in Accounting, Finance, and a few other areas, I came to the conclusion that I desperately wanted to pursue a field that would allow me to be closer with people.  After much deliberation, I decided to focus on Human Resources Management, International Business, and Women's and Gender Studies (by far my most treasured piece of my education).  I finally graduated with my BBA in the Spring of 2010 with the respective focuses.

Currently, I am pursuing my MBA with the University of Toledo and anticipate graduating this upcoming Summer of 2012.  My areas of focus include Human Resources Management, Leadership, and Marketing.

While I grew up in Toledo, I would love to move across the country and am open to relocation; unless I find a worthwhile career here at home.

Aside from school, my passions include: family, travel, photography, animals, vegetarianism, nutrition, and green initiatives.

Travel
One of my life's ambitions is to travel the world and capture it's beauty and essence via photography.  So far, I have traveled domestically to Michigan (deep north), Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Virginia, Washington D.C., Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Nevada, Hocking Hills and California.

Internationally, I have been to a few places.  When I was 15, my mother and I took a trip to Austria and Romania for a mission trip.  This was definitely a trip I will always remember as it was not only an extremely exciting trip to Europe, but also a trip to a third world country which forces you to appreciate your privileges back home.

About a year ago, I was also given the opportunity to visit Niagara Falls in Canada.  This was very exciting because it was the furthest into Canada I had ever been.  If you have not yet visited this amazing place, I highly recommend it!

About two years ago, I was able to take a trip of a lifetime while still enhancing my education...  Australia!!  My partner of 9 years and I decided to live on the Gold Coast (East Coast) of Australia for six months and take part in a study abroad program.  It took me 6 months of planning and researching to get us ready for this trip (without much help from the university).  It was probably the most stressful time of my life, but it was all WELL worth the stress; the planning process taught me a lot about organization, management, and researching.

We were given the opportunity to meet the nicest people in the world, view the most spectacular scenery in the universe, live in the nicest apartment possible, and play and live with the most amazing animals in the world.  It was the most incredible experience of my life and I am honored to have been given the opportunity.

Photographs
All my life, I have loved taking photographs and sharing them with everyone.  My favorites to capture are landscapes and macros.  I recently upgraded from a Sony point and shoot to a nice Canon DSLR camera which I absolutely love.

I hope to one day make money off of my photographs.  As everyone has their dream job, mine is to be the Ansel Adams of our generation.  Below are a few of my favorites.  I hope you like them.
